Dreamgirls Drama

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the release of Dreamgirls? I've heard for a while that American Idol castoff Jennifer Hudson is phenominal in the film, so I'm looking forward to seeing how she's capitalized on her exposure from that show. The movie itself is also said to be an excellent production and worth watching. But, with all these new rumors flying around about Beyonce being upset over how well Jennifer Hudson is in the movie, I really want to see it now. I was expecting a December release here in Boston, but it turns out that only NYC, LA, and SF will be lucky enough for the Roadshow Srceening (see the official website for details). Apparently the rest of us will have to wait until January for the movie's release. In the meantime, I'm beginning to move into the Beyonce-is-overrated camp. While I don't think she sucks the way others do, I am tired of seeing her everywhere, think she's overexposed, and has let it all go to her head.
